Kerr Design Build Runs for Hope — Supporting Young Learners in Vancouver
At Kerr Design Build, giving back to the community is part of our business philosophy.
On May 4, three of our team members laced up their running shoes and participated in the BMO Vancouver 8K run as part of the RUN4HOPE charity program. They joined thousands of others to raise funds for causes that make a difference.
Our chosen cause was Learning Buddies Network, a local nonprofit dedicated to helping elementary school students build vital literacy and math skills through free one-on-one mentoring in a supportive, after-school environment. Their mission to ignite a love of learning in children who might not otherwise have access to academic help deeply resonated with us.
We’re proud to share that $16,305.30 was raised for Learning Buddies through this year’s marathon efforts—part of the $427,514.03 raised in total across all participating charities.
It was more than just a run. It was a step toward stronger communities, brighter futures, and a celebration of what’s possible when we come together. We’re grateful to have had the chance to support such a meaningful cause, and we’ll be back next year, running for hope once again.
