Condo Renovation in West Point Grey

A garden-level condo in West Point Grey, fully renovated from the entry to the ensuite. Working alongside West Vancouver design studio ri inc, Kerr Design Build turned a dated layout into a warm, light-filled home, with wide-plank oak floors, custom white oak millwork and quiet, considered details in every room.

A White Oak Kitchen Made for Everyday Life
The kitchen is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling rift-cut white oak, concealing a panel-ready fridge and generous pantry storage beside built-in wall ovens. Fluted glass upper cabinets add texture and a soft glow, while Cambria Everleigh quartz runs from the counters up the full-height backsplash.
The island is finished with mitred waterfall edges and opens directly to the dining area, where a statement woven pendant hangs above the table and patio doors lead out to the garden.
LIVING ROOMA Warm, Consistent Palette Throughout
At the heart of the home, a new linear gas fireplace clad in white ribbed tile anchors the living room and gently separates it from the dining area, defining each space without closing either off. Beneath the corner windows, a custom window seat with storage below turns the garden view into a place to sit and stay a while.
A Dedicated Place to Work
Tucked beside the kitchen, a built-in office nook continues the white oak millwork, with a desk, upper storage, open display shelving and integrated lighting. It’s a real workspace that feels like part of the home.
A Private Retreat
In the primary suite, a white oak millwork hallway with built-in dressers and a lit bulkhead creates a sense of arrival. A narrow glass slot brings light from the ensuite into the bedroom.
The ensuite feels like a spa: large-format stone-look porcelain on floors and walls, a freestanding soaker tub, a frameless glass shower, and a custom white oak vanity with a backlit mirror and brass globe pendants.
THE DETAILSConsidered in Every Room
The guest ensuite features large-format porcelain with a textured accent wall and its own glass shower. The powder room makes a statement with a Black Silk quartzite vanity. Even the laundry received full attention, with quartz counters and a marble mosaic backsplash, and every room was relit with a new lighting plan.
The custom millwork uses no-added-formaldehyde MDF panels made from recovered and recycled wood fibre, supporting healthier indoor air.
